About Us

Super Smash Bros. Institute was founded in January 2019 as a pet project with only one member, the founder.

The whole site is just run through the default Google Suite of online web apps, all interconnected. If you see a chart, the source data is probably coming from Google Sheets. If you host your own tournament and want to share your results with the community, you can do so by simply filling out a Google Sheet and producing a publicly viewable copy. This allows for us to integrate the data quickly and analyse the changing meta.

When you visit this site, nobody collects any money. Honest! It's all just fan-run. We do not take donations.
